Fall Parties

          We will be having our fall party on Friday, October 26^th. The party will start around 2:00 p.m. Students are allowed to wear their costumes if they want to. They just can’t wear mask or have anything harmful or scary at school. ThanksJ

Subject Area

Reading- Students are reading a chapter book.

Math- Students will be tested on 7’s and 8’s next week. Please be reviewing these at home. We are working on multiplication and division during math.

Science- We are studying about fossils.

Fall Festival

Fall Festival is going to be Thursday, October 25^th from 5:00-7:30. We would like for all families to send $3-$10 new items as prizes for the Bingo game. There will be a costume contest as well at 5:45 p.m. 

Cookie Dough Delivery

Cookie Dough will be delivered tomorrow.  Please make plans to come to school to pick up your child's order from 2:30-3:30.

   Subject Area

Math- Just to let remind you, each month of our new curriculum in math focuses on different concepts during our "Calendar Math Time".  During October, the students are learning about liquid measurement, fractions, different quadrilaterals, and are continuing to work on counting money and telling time correctly.  Many of our vocabulary words come from our calendar math program.  Study guides were sent home in Friday folders today.  Please take time to review the words.  Since our month is shorter due to Fall Break, there are not as many words to review.  :)

Science Fair

            Most students have picked what science fair project they want to do for the science fair this year. The science fair is going to be December 13^th. If you want your child to do something other than what they picked, please let me know. The science fair is mandatory in the 4^th grade. Thanks
